Chicago Heat’s mission is to provide quality baseball instruction and develop players through our year-round programming that consist of partnerships with the Boys and Girls Club, former college and MLB players, and Shabonna Park. Our focus is to build and sustain competitive baseball in Chicago and particularly in the Portage Park neighborhood. In addition to being a youth baseball organization, we offer camps, clinics, private instruction, and semi-group training. Our teams are not divided along boundaries, nor do we have a specific high school team focus. We have a much broader mission and strive to be an inclusive organization. We want to make our program accessible to as many kids as possible, regardless of neighborhood and socioeconomic status. We believe baseball should be used to break down boundaries as opposed to putting them up. As an organization, we understand the importance of player development and it is the foundation of our program.  Through our scholarship program, the Chicago Heat can offer financial assistance to families in need. This program is largely funded through fundraising and tax deductible donations.
